Apple is expanding its portfolio with streaming service
In the past, Apple has been able to rely on its loyal fan base following its smartphone sales to follow every presentation, as well as spend the night in front of an Apple store to grab the latest iPhone.
The smartphone market, however, is now largely saturated, and so on the one hand missing genuine innovation, and on the other hand, many buyers are no longer willing to pay well over a thousand euros for a smartphone which is out of date in a year.
So if the old core business, which has flushed the bulk of sales into the coffers, is no longer running, you have to change and expand your business models to remain one of the most valuable companies.

Apple TV Plus launches on 1 November for 4.99$
In a total of 100 countries now Apple also starts its own streaming service with Apple TV Plus from 1 November 2019 at a competitive price of 4.99 $ / month. The offer can be terminated on a monthly basis as with other streaming providers.
A trial period (as usual), there are at Apple TV Plus synonymous, but there are only 7 days. Then the first paid month begins.
Here, the competition has the nose in front of the front, each a free trial month.
It has been speculated in advance (as with any announcement from Apple) much as Apple wants to score against the top dog Amazon Prime Video and above all Netflix. Well at first, it will certainly be the low price compared to the competition that will make users curious. However, if you look at the start line-up, then that may not cost more.
Because Apple TV Plus starts at first only with a handful of series of which all are self-produced. That this is not yet a serious competition for Netflix and Prime Video is clear. However, considering the Apple sits on a giant mountain money reserves for investment available Apple TV Plus could bring the streaming market in the next few years properly.
And finally, competition has still enlivened every market, offering customers more choices. The trend for the customer will also evolve toward other streaming services that break away with your Netflix and Prime Video productions, and create their own offerings, towards a second and third party that will be used simultaneously at home and on the move.
Apple TV Plus can be received in the browser, via iOS, macOS and of course via the most popular streaming stick on the market, the Fire TV Stick from Amazon. Soon the implementation in Smart TV’s from Sony will follow.
It remains exciting how the streaming market will evolve after the video library industry in its final breaths. For us as a customer, it can only be right if there are more players, and thus more supply on the market.
