With the articles on our site, we want to offer our readers real added value. Therefore, we have written a few small rules that we would like to recommend to our guest authors.

1. Quality of the article

Articles can and should always have an interesting title that makes you want to read the article. What we don’t want, however, are so-called clickbait articles where the content does not deliver what the headline promises. High-quality articles with added value for the reader are a priority for both guest authors and for us as the site operator. The articles should also be informative, useful and helpful in the first place. Articles that are primarily intended to buy products or services from the guest author are not published by us.

2. Duplicate Content

The term “duplicate content” means that articles that are submitted and published with us should not be found on other (not even your own) sites. Because the consequences for the ranking on Google and other search engines would be that at best the article does not appear in the top positions of the search results, and in the worst case, pages can be generally graded in the ranking if something like this occurs more often. If we have published an article and later find the same article from you on other sites, we will delete the article in question, including the backlinks.

3. Article Images

If you send us articles without an article picture, we will be happy to select a suitable one for you from our archive. However, it is always better if the entire work (article and article picture) come from one pen. The images should be submitted in .jpeg or .png file format, have a size of approx. 750pixel x 500pixel and, if possible, not be larger than 100Kb.

4. Linking

In addition to your website, we are also happy to link to your Facebook or Twitter homepage. What we don’t do, however, are links to pages with the following content: pornography, games of chance, generics, competitions, faith healers, political parties, pages with a religious background of any faith, as well as product pages, etc.

Of course, we also do not link to pages with content that violates applicable law or is at least questionable. We attach great importance to a serious and authentic appearance externally and internally.

5. Duration and publication of the article

Articles that we receive from our guest authors are generally published by us in German and English free of charge, and have no expiry date as is the case with many other sites. Publication usually takes place within 2 weeks at the latest after the examination. If the submitted article cannot be published by us, we will inform you about this and delete both the article and your personal data immediately in accordance with the GDPR. On the day of publication, we will inform you about this immediately by email and send you the relevant link.

6. Submission of the article

For data protection reasons, we only accept articles from guest authors using our secure form for guest authors. This security of data protection is no longer guaranteed when transmitted by e-mail, which is why we will no longer be able to accept any articles in this way in the future.
